Congratulations are in order, I think...

My good friend and partner-in-crime, Greg Rucka (with whom I wrote several issues of CHECKMATE and the recent FINAL CRISIS: RESIST one-shot), has been turning out just outstanding work on another DC Final Crisis tie-in, FINAL CRISIS: REVELATIONS (the final issue of which hits store shelves today).

It's a first-rate book; great story, great art (by the massively talented Phillip Tan), just great comics all around. I commend it to your attention.

I was quite pleased to see that Greg and Phillip received a nomination for the 20th Annual GLAAD Awards, for "Outstanding Comic Book."

Well done, fellas!

Some minor updates over on the website as well; added FINAL CRISIS: SECRET FILES to the "Recent Comics Work" page; as with the CRIME BIBLE series a while back, I was asked to provide a "page" from the sinister Crime Bible, with text by Greg Rucka, and a wonderful, Gustav Doré-style illustration by Steve Lieber.

I really enjoyed doing those pages on the CRIME BIBLE book, so it was a treat to get one more whack at 'em here. (I generated the "parchment" background, weathering, bloodstains, and typography on those pages.
